Year: In development
Client: Long Plain First Nation

A building designed for the Administration of Finance both for Long Plain First Nation and Arrowhead Development Agency.

There are two parts of the project. The first is a community area where people pick up their cheques, discuss community financial issues in the board room, and enjoy the presence of a cultural space. The second area features a secure area with 50 offices, an athletic area, staff lunchroom and calm room for finance administration staff.

The entrance to the building features a front porch with 13 columns representing the lunar cycles over the course of a year. The building is 13,500 sf and will cost in the range of $6,500,000.

The building was designed in conjunction with Ryan Gorrie of Brook McIlroy Architecture.
