Year: In development
Location: Long Plain First Nation

Client: Long Plain First Nation Finance Building

A building of 13,500 sf designed for the administration of finance both for Long Plain First Nation and Arrowhead Development Agency.

There are two parts of the project. The first is a community area where people can pick up their cheques, discuss community issues in the conference room, and enjoy the presence of the cultural space. The second area comprises a secure area with 50 offices, an athletic area, and a lunchroom and calm room for finance administration staff.

The entrance to the building features a front porch with 13 columns representing the lunar cycles over the course of a year.

The building was designed in conjunction with Ryan Gorrie of Brook McIlroy Architecture.
