Year: Ongoing
Location: Bloodvein First Nation, MB
Client: Bloodvein First Nation
The Bloodvein Prevention Centre is a new 20,000-square-foot facility designed to strengthen and expand prevention programming for children, youth, young adults, and families in Bloodvein First Nation. The building will provide dedicated space for culturally grounded, family-focused programming that supports physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
The facility includes a gymnasium with an adjoining fitness centre, a teaching kitchen with a game processing table, a children’s play area, family rooms, a computer room with an adjacent recording studio, and a round room. Each space is designed to support intergenerational learning, creativity, and connection. By creating a hub for wellness, culture, and community care, the Bloodvein Prevention Centre will help foster healthier families and a stronger future.
This project is being developed in conjunction with the Bloodvein Staff Housing Project, ensuring that the infrastructure needed to support expanded programming and services is in place for long-term sustainability.
